At Edvirra, we are committed to providing exceptional software products and services. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the terms and conditions under which you may cancel your subscription or request a refund for our products and services.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase or subscription. By purchasing or subscribing to our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this policy.

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription to any Edvirra product or service at any time. The cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will continue to have access to the service until that time.

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription through any of the following methods:

  • Log into your account dashboard and navigate to the subscription settings
  • Contact our customer support team at contact@edvirra.com
  • Call our support line during business hours
  • Submit a cancellation request through our contact form

Cancellation Effective Date

When you cancel your subscription, it will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. You will not be charged for the next billing period, but you will retain access to all features and services until your current subscription period expires.

Data Retention After Cancellation

After cancellation, your account data will be retained for 90 days. During this period, you can reactivate your subscription and regain access to all your data. After 90 days, your data may be permanently deleted in accordance with our data retention policies.

Commitment Fee Refund Policy

For specific hiring drives where a commitment fee is collected, the following refund terms apply:

Refundable Scenarios

The commitment fee is fully refundable in the following cases:

  • Successfully completed assessment (refunded regardless of hiring decision)
  • Assessment cancelled by Edvirra
  • Application not processed due to technical issues
  • Duplicate payment or payment error

Non-Refundable Scenarios

The commitment fee is NOT refundable in the following cases:

  • Suspicious activity during assessments
  • False information provided in application
  • Not attending scheduled assessment without prior notice
  • Application rejected after review (unless assessment was completed)
  • Application withdrawal after submission

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 working business days to the original payment method. For successfully completed assessments, refunds are automatically processed without requiring a request.

How to Request a Refund

Send an email to contact@edvirra.com with subject "Commitment Fee Refund Request" and include:

  • Your full name and email address
  • Job position
  • Payment transaction ID or receipt number
  • Date of payment

Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days and send confirmation once processed.

General Refund Policy

We offer refunds under specific circumstances as outlined below. All refund requests are subject to review and approval by our team.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

For new subscriptions, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with our service within the first 30 days of your initial subscription, you may request a full refund.

  • The refund request must be submitted within 30 days of the initial subscription date
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days
  • This guarantee applies only to the first subscription period and not to renewals
  • Custom development projects and one-time implementation fees are excluded from this guarantee

Pro-Rated Refunds

In certain circumstances, we may offer pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of your subscription:

  • If we are unable to provide the service due to technical issues on our end
  • If there is a significant change to the service that materially affects your use
  • If you cancel within the first 7 days of a new billing cycle (for annual subscriptions)
  • At our discretion, for exceptional circumstances

Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for refunds:

  • Custom development services and implementation fees
  • Professional services, consulting, and training fees
  • Third-party integrations or add-ons purchased separately
  • Subscriptions that have been active for more than 30 days (unless covered by pro-rated refund policy)
  • Refunds requested due to violation of our Terms of Service
  • Refunds for services that have been used extensively or where data has been exported

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Support

Send an email to contact@edvirra.com with the following information:

  • Your account email address
  • Subscription ID or invoice number
  • Reason for refund request
  • Date of purchase or subscription start date

Step 2: Review Process

Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days. We may contact you for additional information if needed. Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 7-10 business days.

Step 3: Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider, typically 5-10 business days for credit cards and 3-5 business days for bank transfers.

Custom Development Projects

For custom development projects, mobile app development, and implementation services, the following terms apply:

Project Cancellation

Custom development projects can be cancelled at any time, but cancellation terms depend on the project stage:

  • Before Development Starts: Full refund of any advance payment, minus any costs already incurred (such as planning or design work)
  • During Development: Payment for completed work is non-refundable. You will be charged for work completed up to the cancellation date
  • After Delivery: No refunds are available once the project has been delivered and accepted

Change Requests

Significant changes to project scope may result in additional charges. Any changes must be agreed upon in writing before implementation. If you cancel due to scope changes, standard cancellation terms apply.

Annual Subscriptions

For annual subscription plans, the following refund terms apply:

  • Full refund available within the first 30 days of subscription
  • Pro-rated refunds may be available if cancelled within the first 7 days of a renewal period
  • After 30 days, refunds are generally not available unless there are exceptional circumstances
  • If you cancel an annual subscription, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period

Refund Processing

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used for the purchase:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Refunds appear within 5-10 business days
  • Bank Transfer: Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days
  • Digital Wallets: Refunds are processed within 2-5 business days
  • Corporate Invoices: Refunds are processed via credit note or bank transfer within 10-15 business days

If the original payment method is no longer available, please contact us to arrange an alternative refund method.

Disputes and Appeals

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may appeal by:

  • Contacting our customer support team with additional information or documentation
  • Requesting escalation to a senior manager or supervisor
  • Providing detailed explanation of why you believe the refund should be approved

We will review all appeals within 5 business days and provide a written response with our final decision.

Service Interruptions and Downtime

If our service experiences significant downtime or interruptions:

  • We will work to resolve issues as quickly as possible
  • Extended service interruptions may result in service credits or pro-rated refunds
  • Planned maintenance windows are communicated in advance and do not qualify for refunds
  • Refunds for service interruptions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis

We will notify users of any material changes via email or through our service dashboard. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
